Joel Jaffe

Joel Jaffe is an award winning engineer producer, composer, and studio owner. He has worked on a number of GRAMMY albums and has been instrumental in developing new talent in the bay area for over twenty years.

A member of The Recording Academy and board member for the last 12 years as well as an A.E.S. member. He has conducted seminars on recording in the real world for San Francisco State and Sonoma State recording arts programs, as well as a teacher for Pyramind media and music production school.

His music has appeared on major network television and film as theme songs and incidental pieces, "One life to live", "Young and Restless" aired his compositions this past year. Compositions have recently been on major networks in America as well as internationally. He has scored the music for three shows on WDR network in Germany.

Currently he is the mixer for surround DVD's for artist's such as Ringo Starr, "The Best of The All Starr Band" and Smashmouth and the surround mixer for the animated movie Wave Twisters by DJ Qbert out on DVD now.
